Katie Duncan is a local black historian and politician in Las Vegas. AngieMa & Dj Memphis Hollywood go to the historic Harrison House on the West side of Vegas to interview her during Black History Month. The Harrison House was a safe haven for black entertainers, couples and travelers during the 40s & 50s when black people were not allowed to stay on The Strip. Sammy Davis Jr & Nat King Cole frequently stayed at the House as they were requested to perform for the community that they could not be a part of. Miss Duncan shares the real history of black culture and how she is making an impact on her surroundings and environment.
