It’s a problem that many parents face: how do you make a boring (or gross) food interesting? Sometimes you have to disguise a food in order to get your kids to eat it!
In today’s Feast, we take a trip to the Atayal Tribe village of Naluo (in Hsinchu County, northern Taiwan), to learn about a clever trick they used to make a certain vegetable more palatable for the local kids and the college who come to teach them.
Today’s menu: In our first course, Andrew tells us about the village of Naluo and how he traveled there last weekend to host a concert. In our second course a look at a surplus veggie grown in the village and what they did to disguise it and turn it into a treat! And in our third and final course, we’ll be sampling that treat right here in the studio.
