COVID19 has got me feeling a little uninspired. The Bahamas, where I am at currently, at the time of recording has 608 active cases bring our collective cases to 715 just 3 weeks ago we were stuck at 104 with 4 active cases. In a little less than a month we are at almost 2% of our nation with active cases. The Bahamas opened its borders July 1 and by the weekend of July 10 started seeing an alarming spike in active cases.

Which brings me to this episode. Aug 3, after facing a weekend of uncertainty with a category 2 hurricane Isaisa, the Prime Minister (equivalent to a president) of the Bahamas, Dr. Hubert Minnis issued an executive order enforcing a 2 week lock down commencing August 4 at 10 pm. Many residents were disgruntle towards the action and took to social media to air out their opinions.
