Vera is an American Sign Language interpreter having been raised by parents who are both deaf making her a CODA - Child of Deaf Adult(s). Being part of the deaf community her entire life and appreciating deaf culture, she advocates for deaf ASL teachers, volunteers in the deaf community, and runs an accessibility focused business, Sing & Sign Princess Parties. Vera talks about deaf accessibility in Canada and the foundations of sign language.
