It's a pleasure to add this edition of Soup to the series & we're back in metropolitan Glasgow following on from Lonerist. Drawing on a life long commitment to deep refined music, this set is a studied collection of minimal hypnotic ambient dub to deeper grooves and beautifully mixed by Chris Curtis aka Theta Waves. He and i have crossed paths for many years via the Avenue Red Podcast, Club Sounds Live Community and spent 5 hours together at his Trace night not so long ago. Chris also hosts the regular "Subsine Sessions"; a wonderful platform presenting new music from Glasgow's underground artists.

Brithdir to Wrexham via Clyro [As the Crow Flies]

Three blissed out weekends ..... Funk in the Forest into Free Rotation and completing my Welsh Odyssey as DJ support for We Are Wired in Wrexham and there i played a few records from local imprints the Legend of Gelert, Crow Castle Cuts and Blind Jacks Journey.

I also received a lovely care package of some older back cat releases (thank you Ash)

This mix recorded the day i came home for a proper dig into these beautiful labels.

Happy to ID any, but most of the records are white labels with obscure artists and credits.

Hope you like the mix as much as I loved the Welsh vibes and energy
