Sadly, Vemont’s Maple Syrup producers had a less than stellar year, with production down 20% after a record high value of $84.5 million in 2022. Even with this roller coaster of a year, Vermont’s sugar makers managed to roll with the weather and produce the signature maple syrup that Vermont is known for.
And Vermont Biz’ technology section reveals that the 130 year old Fairbanks Museum is on the cutting edge! Aligned with the Fairbanks’ commitment to decarbonization, their new addition is the first in the world to use regional hemlock in cross-laminated timber construction!
