In today's episode I'm going to be talking about an amazing story about the prophet Elijah and a widow. What makes this story so powerful for me is how Jesus talks about it in the synagogue, hundreds of years later. The verse is 1 Kings 17:9. Here's what it says,

“Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”
