In today's episode we're going to be reading about Naaman the Syrian. A commander of the Syrian army who happens to have a skin disease. It's a powerful story of love, forgiveness, faith, and trust. The verse that I talk about is 2 Kings 5:1. Here's what it says,
Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2016). (2 Ki 5:1). Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles.
There is a powerful connection here to where Jesus speaks about this story one day in the synagogue. I hope you enjoy!
