Outside the bodybuilding world, his unmatched skills fixing people has landed him clients like Tony Robins, Ice-T, Busta Rhymes, Triple H, etc... 

During the episode, we talk about his exploration into his spiritual journey and his personal accounts with a few of his most recent Ayahuasca retreats. Ayahuasca was used for spiritual and religious purposes by ancient Amazonian tribes and is still used as a sacred beverage by some religious communities in Brazil and North America, including the Santo Daime. Many people have made great claims concerning their mental, physical and spiritual health after the use of the plant. It is widely speculated that this plant could help many veterans in their continued struggles with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Jimmy details his path to entrepreneurship and how he developed "The Bluff Technique" - his highly sought after skills around the world. On this weeks episode of the Veteran Entrepreneur Podcast, Scott catches up with Stephan Fernandez, the owner and founder of Pick 6 Global Logistics. Scott and Stephan served in the same platoon and deployed together in 2009. They spend some time catching up and then get into the meat and potatoes of Stephans path into transitioning our of the service and into entrepreneurship.

Stephan is an entrepreneur who took his skills as Radio Operator specializing in Air traffic control and applied them to the world of logistics and trucking. He's been able to create a  successful business model from the ground up. Stephan started out in the industry driving for a big box logistics company where he learned the ins and outs of the business. From there he created a vision to "change the game", hence the name Pick 6 (A football reference for you sports buffs). 

Stephan is actively looking for veterans to hire as drivers for the company. He offers a unique business model wherein the financial rewards are much more lucrative for the driver than the typical driver - carrier relationship model. His company values the work life balance and offers a competitive benefits package.

On this episode of "The Smoke Pit", we had the pleasure of sitting down with retired Marine Sgt. Maj David Devaney, a 30 year career Scout Sniper. David is the author of "They Were Heroes", a memoir detailing the heroic stories of his men in combat, while calling attention to the fact that many heroes of these deadly conflicts have gone unrecognized.

David is an subject matter expert in Post Traumatic Stress and what he coins "Post Traumatic Growth". Over the course of the conversation, David challenges the traditional paradigm and gives a much more raw and practical analysis concerning PTS/PTG as well as some ways that we can look to use these experiences to enable our future success.
