Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Veteran Jazz Saxophonist Steven Carrington .. We caught up with him on tour in Poland to get into his new 2023 CD Friends R Family. It is his third release as a leader and first wholly original outing for this Baltimore native .. He pulls from a full range of his experience like international tours with Kool & The Gang .. After studying at Berklee with the great Bill Pierce, he moved to New York and played with the best in the craft .. We cover some great ground .. Dig this interview ..
