In this Veteran’s Day special episode, Ron talks with Justin Myers, a disabled combat veteran who honorably served for over six years as a Gunner’s Mate in the United States Navy. His gallant actions during the 2010 pirate attack on the amphibious dock landing ship, the U.S.S. Ashland, and his subsequent valiant efforts that led to the first judicial conviction for piracy in over 200 years earned him the nickname, “Pirate Hunter”. 

After returning to civilian life, Justin founded Signs by Veterans, a full-service sign company, where his mission is delivering excellence through service to his clients and continuing veteran development through service to his community. Justin believes that generating purpose in the lives of veterans will truly decrease the staggering rate of veteran suicides.
