This episode, hosted by U.S. Army Forces Command commander Gen. Michael X. Garrett, features a conversation with three Soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. Capt. Cody Chellman, Sgt. Gunner Parsons, and Spc. Alsajjad Al Lami, share their stories of their ties to the military that started well before they joined the Army.

During the conversation, Garrett asks the Soldiers about their experiences deploying to Afghanistan in late August to help with evacuation efforts, how they help their families and their Soldiers’ families prepare for that type of mission, and how the unit ensures they are ready when called upon.
