There are thousands of veterans among the more than 1.6 million Floridians who have lost the right to vote because of past felony convictions. The ACLU of Florida is leading a push to place a proposed Constitutional amendment on the November 2018 ballot that would restore the voting rights of all who complete their sentences, except for those convicted of murder or a felony sex offense.
