Chankia Berry, MSW, is a certified Veterinary Social Worker at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Tuskegee, AL. She obtained her MSW from Berry University in Miami, FL. Ms. Berry is an alumnus of TU's Department of Social Work and a proud member of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society! She has worked in many industries such as hospitals, nursing homes, mental health facilities, and the Department of Family and Children Services which allowed her to gain several transferable skills for practice today. Notably, she is the founder of the Veterinary Social Work Program at Tuskegee University! She will provide us with insight into the human and animal interaction of social work practice.
