Sometimes a movie comes along and flips cinema on its head. We talk about two such movies this week, specifically as it relates to changing the visual effects game. First up is Titanic. This epic (both as a film and in cost) was a painstaking passion project by Director James Cameron that rewrote the rules on how you built and manipulate a set. Second, we talk about The Matrix. There has not been an action movie made since this Wachowski film that has not been effected by the unbelievable way this movie approached fight scene filming. Enjoy!
