2020 is officially a wrap, and for the first podcast of 2021 the VG Boys wanted to discuss some things that happened in December they couldn't cover before the end of the year. The Game Awards for 2020 came and went and it is absolutely worth going over some of the nominees and winners even though it's a few weeks later. There were many premiers and sneak peaks for games currently in development which is always an exciting announcement and both Sean and Adam have their own choices for games they will be keeping an eye on.
Of course the biggest drop of the year that quickly went sour is Cyberpunk 2077 and it is absolutely in need of discussing what happened, current issues and what this could do for the future of the gaming industry. Come join the discussion and let us know what you think!
The topic of discussion for this podcast is one that has been touched upon in previous episodes but is even more relevant today with the new generation of systems released by Sony and Microsoft. Which system do you go with? Is digital media the inevitable future or does the demand for physical discs/media still sway that topic to undecided? Come join the discussion and let us know your opinion of this subject and which system type do you think you'll be purchasing.
The VG Boys continue with the top 10 theme and this time they have a combined list for games they think deserve a sequel! A sequel is not always guaranteed, even if the game is popular or sells well. Sometimes studios change, or go a different direction but the boys have their thoughts on what they'd like to see (even if they're just pipe dreams).
