To end the show we also take a look at the biggest storylines around the NHL, including the red-hot Winnipeg Jets and the 4 Nations Face-off projected rosters.

This week Dave Goucher chats with Brett Howden, who is off to the best start of his NHL career with five goals through the first 11 games. Brett speaks on the team's recent play, fitting in with the VGK and feeling like he belongs in the NHL, plus how being a father has shaped his mindset. This week on VGK Today Ashali Vise catches up with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman to talk Utah expansion, similarities to the Golden Knights, and how he quantifies success for the league. We also hear a portion of the Commissioner's conversation with Dan D'Uva from opening night before delving into league storylines from early in the week.
