I'm excited to finally participate in the Vibes Web3 music competition after such a long time of planning to enter it. For week 30, I decided to sing a Nigerian song which falls in the Afrobeat style genre, and it's titled 'Comma' by Arya Star.
At first, it wasn't really easy for me to get a song to sing, but not until I came across this song, 'Comma' by Arya Star. Although it wasn't easy to practice and learn all the lyrics, I eventually got the hang of it. I'm happy that in the end, I was able to sing and give a decent performance.
Honestly, this song really gives me joy every time I listen to it. I feel a sense of rejoicing in my soul because I love the song. The song is actually about encouraging people to stay strong and strive for success. I love the song because it's so encouraging.
Another thing that was a challenge for me was the recording process. After rehearsing the song and perfecting the lyrics, I thought I was ready, but recording was a different story. Knowing that I had a limited number of takes before selecting the best one added some pressure. However, I'm happy that I finally got a take that I'm satisfied with, and I feel like I really connected with the song.
