Hello everyone welcome to Vibes Web3 Music Competition this is my entry for the week 7. I will be performing"Pray for Me " cover by a Nigerian artist named "Darey Art Alade".
Darey is a legend when it comes to music, he is a vocalist and he plays instruments as well and that is why I love his songs.
This particular song was about a boy who planned to leave his comfort zone (his parent's house) in search of green pastures in the city where life seems tough for people. His father tried to persuade him to stay but his mind was already made up to leave, so he said to his father Gbadura fun me in English"Pray for me" which is the title of the song.
He ended up making it in the city after all the ups and downs he faced in the city, sometimes it's good to try something new if we want something new. Probably if he had stayed back he might not have been successful but he risked his life and in the end, he made it.
