What happens when what God has spoken requires more than what you can see, understand, or accomplish on your own?

In Part 3 of “Elevating God’s Word,” we explore why the Word of God must have priority in our lives. Scripture is God-breathed and equips us for the work He has assigned to us. And because faith comes by hearing the Word, elevating God’s Word is essential to living the life of faith God has called us to.

God’s will will often take us beyond our resources, intellect, strength, and comfort. Faith says, “Be it unto me according to Your Word,” and then responds by acting on what God has spoken—even before we can see how everything will work out.

Like Peter stepping out of the boat, the question becomes: Will we keep our focus on what God said, or allow what we see around us to cause us to doubt?

What did the Lord say?

It’s time to hear Him, believe Him, obey Him, and step into Kingdom living by faith.

With so many voices competing for our attention, which voice has the final say?

In Part 2 of “Elevating God’s Word,” we continue the call to give God’s Word preeminence in our lives—honoring it, obeying it, and making Scripture the unchanging, authoritative standard for how we live. Elevating the Word means testing what we hear, feel, see, and experience against the truth of Scripture.

We also discover that the Word is more than something written on a page—the Word is Jesus. As we learn His Word, we learn His voice, and as His Word takes root in us, we become grounded believers who can recognize truth, reject competing voices, and align our lives with what God has spoken.

Like Mary, our response becomes: “Be it unto me according to Your Word.” Not simply as something we say, but as a life surrendered and aligned with God.

What does it really mean to elevate the Word of God?

In Part 1 of “Elevating God’s Word,” we’re challenged to give God’s Word its rightful place, the highest authority and standard in our lives. As followers of Christ, we are called to honor, obey, and center our lives around His Word, allowing it to shape our decisions, identity, purpose, and direction.

God’s Word is more than words on a page. Jesus is the living Word, and through His Word we receive the vision, guidance, truth, and clarity we need to walk in His will.
