Vibration can cause abnormal growth patterns in cell cultures, ruining your valuable experiments. Vibration can come from other nearby equipment such as freezers or centrifuges, or it can come from things like HVAC systems, construction, trains and cars, or just people walking around the lab. If you see abnormal growth patterns you may need to protect your incubator from floor vibration.
