Vic Mellor is one of the Republicans trying to unseat Democrat Seth Magaziner in Rhode Island's 2nd Congressional District.

Mellor says he's not far right, despite a relationship with President Trump and his presence at the Jan. 6 riots.

The candidate also addresses two reported domestic violence incidents, though he was never charged.
