Every year we go to LASHCON, we run into people who share how our event has changed their lives. They met their lash bestie; they met a lash brand that wants to hire them; they got inspired to make a huge change in their life...and the stories go on an on. 

LASHCON can be quite emotional for us as we hear these amazing stories where people's lash careers are changed for the better. 

In today's episode, we have Victoria Zaborowski (AKA Vicky Z!) come on to share her lash journey after she left LASHCON last November.  Her life today is 100% different than it was a year ago, and a lot of it is due to some new friends she made at LASHCON.

362. UV LIGHT SERIES: Maddi & Elliott From Light Heart Lash Discuss the UV Light Trend

Every year, when we wrap up LASHCON, we ask our attendees what they would like to see next year… One of the top requests is that we bring LASHCON to the East Coast because they say no one does events there. Now, that might happen in the next year or two, but until we bring our event out there, there is a huge need for an event to serve the East Coast lash community. 

In today’s episode, we are excited to have our good friends Stephanie and Pat Nunnari on our podcast to discuss their new lash event, THE COURSE. This one-day lash event will take place in NYC on June 16, 2024, and we think it will be amazing. The Course is not like other lash events. They are featuring four top-level speakers who will be able to go a little deeper on the lash topics they are known for. Our very own Tussanee Luebbers and Tress Larson, Ali Lilly, and Michelle Nguyen will be featured. 361. The East Coast Finally Has a Lash Conference in NYC…You Need to Check Out The Course

In today's episode, we continue our UV light series with the founders of Lash Apothecary: Olivia Knight, Curtis Knight and Ann Frehner. They have been distributing their OPAL UV light system for a while and have done a lot of research to make sure what they are selling is safe. We have talked to a bunch of lash companies selling UV lights and sadly many have not been able to provide us any info on the safety of their products...thankfully Lash Apothecary was able to.

Olivia, Curtis and Ann have a passion for our industry as well as for providing safe products and our discussion with them was very enlightening and entertaining. It's been great getting to hear from a chemist, physicist, engineer, doctor, manufacture and we felt it would be perfect to have someone on who is selling the product every day to lash artists because they would get the most immediate feedback on the product from their customers.
