Dean Ripa loved art and snakes.  He followed his passions and opened a large Serpentarium in Wilmington, North Carolina exhibiting one of the largest collections of live exotic venomous snakes in the U.S.  The community was shocked when Dean’s life came to an untimely end... and it was NOT by the fangs of a snake
