On Butterflies of Wisdom today, Best-Selling Author, Win Kelly Charles and Juan Carlos Gill welcomes Victoria Hargis. At 30 years old… Victoria began a difficult transition for anyone ever to experience. After seven years as a loyal and faithful wife… Victoria became a young widow with two kids. Later the same year… One of the most devastating events in a parent’s life happened when Victoria heard the diagnosis that her youngest child was going to die. Her young son – Davey – was diagnosed with a severe seizure disorder called Lennox-Gestaut syndrome that caused frequent seizures to occur. Sadly, the disorder ended up by taking his life by the time he was 13 years old. Like a Christmas ornament dropped from the hands of a child, Victoria’s life had shattered into a million pieces of glass. As Victoria stared at the tiny glass shards that littered the floor, she realized that she would never be able to put her life back together.Victoria picked up one piece at a time to reconnect the broken parts of her. Suddenly it all clicked… the events formed the fabric of Victoria’s experience for many years. His death and Victoria’s grief can only be expressed as a life-shattering experience Victoria will never forget. Gluing Victoria back together took a long time. Victoria continued feeling broken until she was able to finally do the inner rebuilding work that needed to be done… Until Victoria finally made up her mind to reclaim the many parts of her, Victoria had left behind when she was only surviving.
