Victoria and I had a beautiful, heart-led conversation about motherhood. We chatted about expectations one can have about their children and things they would like them to do or play with versus the realities of each particular child's interests, needs and wants. The importance of honouring each child's unique nature and to go with the flow and be in more of a witness state to the unfolding process of these beautiful souls we have in our care. We talked a lot about the loss of a village and how detrimental that is and the importance of finding your mothering community however you can, and that it often shows up in unique ways that we never would have expected. I don't think I even got to my usual questions in this interview as Victoria and I just jumped right in to the flow and allowed the energy to guide the conversation!
