Gentrification - How inequality plays out in our neighborhoods. A problem we're seeing more of in our cities. To solve this problem we need to talk more with our citizens, but right now we’re only speaking with the already heard. There is a need to see the city as a common responsibility, a collective resource for us all. In this talk Victoria Percovich, sustainability strategist, discusses how we can start including everyone when forming our future cities.
The talk was a part of a lunch seminar about ”The City” as a platform to innovate on, both from a human, tech and community perspective. We spy great opportunities to use the platform of cities to deal with democracy, integration, life etc. Accordingly ”The City” will be one of the topics at this The Conference 2016.
