Works to demolish the east stand at the Victoria Stadium have started today. This forms part of the groundwork for the construction of a UEFA-approved, category 4 stadium. The works are highly complex and have required close co-ordination with the MOD, to minimise any impact on the runway. We spoke to Ros Astengo who was at the site.
