Telling of ghost stories at Christmas time has been a tradition since the Victorian era in England; however, while Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" was an instance success in the states.  The tradition never truly caught on even though songs mention the tradition.  In keeping with the English tradition we tell you three Victorian ghost stories, "How Peter Parley Laid a Ghost", "The Doll's Ghost", and "The Ghost's Summons" all them written and published during the 1900's.
