Not only were they holiday traditions that still occur today, like Christmas Trees, but the whole idea of mourning for someone's death. Whether it be a funeral, what to wear to grieve the loss of a best friend or cousin, or the creation of the whole funeral home business--it all came about during the Victorian Era.
