China's Communist Party broke with the Soviet Union over the denunciation of Stalin in the 1950s and remains a Marxist-Leninist-Stalinist regime that regards its version of communism with Chinese characteristics as the only true ideology. In fact, Chinese communism remains as false and misleading as its Soviet progenitor.
