Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT
What is truth?
John 18:37-38 NIV
"Living my truth."
God never changes, so His truth never changes.
John 8:44
NLT
Foundational Truth: We are created in the image of God, and our morality and character come from Him.
Foundational Lie: God has no image. My character is based on what I think I am and rooted in what I do and experience.
Why is this lie so powerful? Because it gives us exactly what we want.
Three ways we know when we are not wearing the belt of truth:
1. When we are not living in true freedom.
John8:32 NLT
2. When our identity is in something other than in Christ.
John 14:6 NLT
3. Our lives do not reflect the life of Jesus.
Exodus 20:7 Amplified Bible
