Psalm 118 verses 17 to 19, “I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me severely, but He has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness and I will go through them, and I will praise the Lord.“

The Bible tells us that the Lord chastens us when we begin to lose our way and our focus because of carelessness or neglect in our walk with Him. We know that He does it out of love for us. Though it might seem to be severe, you and I are promised that He will never leave nor forsake us. He will show us a pathway that we now need to take.

Get up today, and go in that direction. Now victory that is already is yours will clearly come into view again. You haven’t lost it, you just don’t see it.
