"Fright Night" is a horror-comedy film from 1985 directed by Tom Holland. The movie tells the story of Charley Brewster, a teenager who discovers that his neighbor, Jerry Dandridge, is a vampire. Charley tries to convince his friends and family of the danger, but no one believes him. With the help of a washed-up horror movie actor, Peter Vincent, Charley sets out to stop Jerry before he can kill again.

The movie features strong performances from its cast, particularly Chris Sarandon as the charismatic and menacing Jerry Dandridge, and Roddy McDowall as the over-the-top Peter Vincent. The special effects and makeup are also impressive, and the film effectively builds tension and suspense throughout.
