Failing my way (in public) to success

Video CVs and why they are so important in the digital ERA

Listen Later

My podcast is split into 2 series

1 is about my journey and how I'm failing my way, in public to success

the other is about interviewing people who can give insight and advise into how to be successful as what you are doing

On today's show I interviewed 2 fellow Brits who have decided (like myself) there is no better time to start a new business than when it's a recession

One of the business partners currently owns a recruitment company but has seen a change happen that they have jumped on and executing

With the downturn in the market, many people have lost their jobs, there are not many roles available and that makes for a very competitive market

how do you stand out in a crowd that is saturated with good people that have been let go because some companies just can not afford to keep them?

Well one way is to do a video CV that really showcases what you are about and how you can be of value to your next employer

Parker Sinclair Productions take the time to understand you as a person which leads to creating a short video CV

There is definitely an art to doing this and many people need help, Parker Sinclair have expertise to make sure your video will be eye catching and make sure you come across in a professional way to to your potential new employer

I ask a string of questions and also include my own thoughts on the matter

I really enjoyed the open conversation, its made very clear that its been a tough ride but they have stuck with it and that it was the journey to success is all about

Enjoy the show
