Gustavo Dudamel leads the BSO in the great Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera’s sparkling Piano Concerto No. 1, from 1961. It was premiered by the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C., with soloist João Carlos Martins, who later played and recorded it with Erich Leinsdorf and the BSO.
