Welcome back video heads! In our ninth episode we begin in on the 2017 film 'What Happened to Monday', featuring a new guest on the show -- Wade Byers! As always we let our guests pick the film, and this action packed dystopian thriller film with a lot to say is one of Netflix's best that it's put out to date in his (and our) opinion.

Come along with us on this film with big actors in it such as Noomi Rapace, Glenn Close and Willem Dafoe as we enter a world where human reproduction is very closely monitored. Families can only have one child, and if they break this law then their other child(ren) are taken away to be put in a cryopod --- until humanity has better times and the resources to care for a much larger population. Using this world as the backdrop, we find ourselves with seven protagonists as their mother and grandfather broke this law to protect these seven identical sisters. See what they must, and will do to survive in this near-future dystopia.

Welcome back video heads! In our eighth episode we continue discussing and wrap up on a wonderful and Best Picture winning film, Moonlight!

Join us as we delve into a film told in three parts, co-written by two men who lived the realities told in this story. A young black boy must navigate growing up, masculinity, and what it means to be gay while doing so. Along the way he encounters that many people have a lot of different ideas about those things and how she should approach them. But what does he want, and can he attain it?

This is the first all black cast and LGBT film to win Best Picture --- despite the best efforts of some presenter to give it to La La Land snafu which caused some drama for it at the Oscars! It also had Mahershala Ali win Best Supporting Actor as the first Muslim person to do so, and the film win Best Adapted Screenplay as it was adapted from a short play penned by the co-writer of Moonlight (Tarell Alvin McCraney).
