God has set us up so that we will always be disappointed in everything except him.  He has purposely made the earth so unsatisfying that when we have everything it can offer; we still say everything is meaningless.  We have to look to Jesus.  Only in Him will we find real meaning.  Only in Him can we truly live.

Is the world trying to distract you with its stress, its hurt, its temporary shallow stuff?  Gaze instead somewhere else.  Gaze upon The King, this heavenly King, your King who is your friend.  Give him your attention, your look.  One day Jesus will return for us and take us home to live forever.  That's the gospel, it's worth being beaten, jailed, disliked.  It's the only thing worth living for.
