Chris Brown has written a book about a very British moment in film history - the video nasty scare of the 1980s. On the Britflicks Podcast he talks at length about what he found watching all 72 of the films the Director of Public Prosecutions believed to violate the Obscene Publications Act 1959. It's a noble act and one that spawned a podcast first and eventually the book: "The Video Nasties Moment: Examining The Films Behind The Scare."
