I realized this week that is possible to upload videos on Ecency App.
Didn't had time to read the post where is explained this new feature but I'm excited to give it a try (will read it later this week, hopefully).
So lets try the new video feature here in Ecency!
If you follow me, you know that I create and post lots of gifs, but great part of those gif files don't "born" as gifs (exception when I create the gifs in my mobile phone).
So, great part of them start in Adobe After Effects, after create the motion project, I render the animation in .mov file, to have an idea, a .mov video rendered from an animation with about 5 sec can have about 500Mb, to large for Hive content.
What I use to do next is, convert the .mov file in gif format and great part of the time, convert, resize and compress again until .gif have a maximum of 5 or 6Mb, more than that it's impossible to upload.
It's obvious that I will not upload here .mov videos with 500Mb, first because this is my first try and I don't know exactly how this feature works, second because there are other codecs like h.264 that reduce the size of the video file , sometimes in about 10x less and have quality enough.
So what i'm uploading today in Ecency are 3 Hive animations in Full HD with the h.264 coded as ,mp4 files.
Don't know if after post them they will be available do download, if yes, fill free to download and use.

Ok! Or I'm doing something wrong or it's just allowed 1 video per post! (tried several times, second video say "ready to post" but is not inserted here)
I'm sorry for that guys! I've uploaded 3 videos but I guess I will have to create 2 more posts later to post them.
I also can't play the video in the preview area, have to post and let's see if it is published or not
