BC Ferries chief Mark Collins is responding to the NDP’s call for new ships to be built here in B.C.  If that idea comes to pass, the ships will cost more with either government subsidy or 25% jump in fares needed to cover the costs.  The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.
