The governing NDP and their Green Party allies both want a pro rep system to replace the current first-past-the-post system. The Greens want it badly, as the system is bound to produce more minority government with the Greens potentially holding the balance of power.  The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.
