Hello my friends and welcome to Beyond. The conversation today is one in what will be a series of explorations with my friend Jesse, as we learn to share our heart felt reflections. As we embark on what we consider overdue. A courageous, and hopefully meaningful, sharing of our journey in making sense of our world today. 

Our focus in this connection begins with awareness of War in the world. Abroad and at home, the desire to fight each other, to be on the right side, to other people is very present in our world today. Jesse and I believe there is another way, a way into the Beyond. 

Expect to wonder about

• How to engage the power of conflict to generate connection, collaboration, and expand community. 
• How we come together in these times, not tear apart
• How to heal the war inside ourselves
• What happens beyond the paradigm of destruction and the moral high ground
• How we invite in and anchor the energy of aliveness, peace, and connection like a orchestra conductor
• How to find our way to bigger questions, different perspectives, and ownership on the path beyond normal

This territory is important because we are lured into fighting constantly, we too easily use it to define our identity. “I am this or that, are you with me or against me?” We are swimming in waters and breathing the air of being on the right side of the fight. Our movies, our news, our politics all ask us to choose sides.  Jesse and I want to offer ways to accept the poet Rumi’s invitation,

“Out Beyond Right doing and wrong doing, out beyond right and wrong, out beyond fighting, there is a field, lets meet, lets explore, lets dance on this beautiful land. “
