Adam Qutaishat, creator of Vigil here to provide you with an update on our Crowdfunding campaign. We had an amazing day 1 and we've now reached over 40% of our goal! We're so unbelievably thankful for each and every person who has contributed to the campaign or spread the word. Your support means the world to us.

We have 60% of our $12,000 goal to raise and about a week and a half left to do it. And that's where you, the listeners come in. On a personal note, making art is difficult right now. And we're gearing up for the next stage. A stage that will only be possible with your help. So please stay tuned as things are definitely on the way... just maybe be patient. I know I'm having to be. I want nothing more than to make Season 2 something you can all listen to, but the world and other obligations make timelines hard. Especially when we don't want to rush and release something that isn't up to our standards. All that to say. Soon...ish.

As for what you can do right now, you can listen to this episode of Dirt! Dirt is a mystery, a treasure hunt, and an exploration of relationships past and present. Sounds like a Vigil fans dream already. Dirt follows Joseph Elo, a tech celebrity who receives a mysterious letter in the mail from his grandfather — who died 30 years ago. The letter kicks off an fantastical journey that sees Joseph examine his priorities, his relationships, and ultimately, with what he wants to do with the rest of his life. Dirt is great because the show tells a compelling mystery without enormous stakes. Things are exciting because we want to solve the puzzle and see Joseph grow, not because the world is about the explode. And I, for one, find that refreshing.
