The Vikings, down to their third string quarterback, rallied to beat the Atlanta Falcons 31-28 when Joshua Dobbs tossed a 6-yard touchdown pass with 22 seconds to go in the game. The Falcons had two turnovers in the third quarter that were converted into 11 points. The Falcons took the lead on a Tyler Allgeier touchdown run, but the defense could not keep Dobbs out of the end zone. The Viking used a play that the Lions had success with against the Falcons earlier in the season against the Cover 4 red zone defense with a nickel back tucked inside. The Falcons are now 4-5 and have one game left before going to their bye week.
