Villages are still around though

I will show you some video footage from villages and how they exist today. If you have lived community in your city life, some of this will look odd. You may see unpaved roads, smaller or older buildings, and open space used for farming or livestock.

The houses may also be further apart and are usually made of materials found locally.

When you visit, remember that many of these buildings have not been maintained and are being used for whatever was made for a long, long time.

You may also see things such as people carrying water or taking care of animals that do not reflect ways of living in urban life. Some houses may lack traditional plumbing or heat, and power may exist, but would limit its use depending on the time of day or for what purpose like cooking. Shops or services would not be located near each other. Much of the daily living happens in the home or fields. Travel is often by foot or rudimentary vehicle that could not for heavy urban traffic.

The countryside is largely defined by agriculture and basic living needs and not by commercial or industrial value. Most buildings are thoughtful for practicality not sacred and devoid of any aesthetic appeal.

If your usual point of reference is city infrastructure and design, your ability to draw comparisons will be baser.
