History Explains It All

Villisca Axe Murders

Listen Later

This week we are delving into some unsolved true crime with the Villisca Axe Murders. In June 1912 the entire Moore family, as well as the visiting young Stillinger sisters, would be found brutally murdered by an axe. No one knows why or who executed any entire family. Some claim it was a random drifter. Others say it was a serial killer. Some believe that it was a rival of Josiah Moore. There's a long list of suspects and a lot of information with this one, so strap in.
