On July 22, 2022, Vince McMahon announced online on his personal twitter that he would be officially retiring from the WWE including all his duties performed within the WWE including all business and creative work he is normally tasked with. This comes amid the WWE sex scandals brought to life in the past month from the Wall Street Journal articles and that Vince McMahon was revealed to pay millions of dollars in hush money to former employees to which he allegedly had an affair with. Stephanie McMahon will be the chairwoman and co-CEO alongside the other co-CEO Nick Khan. Triple H is also announced to be the new WWE Head of Talent Relations.
