विन्द और अनुविन्द अवन्ती के राजा जयसेन के पुत्र और मित्रविन्दा के भाई थे। दोनों दुर्योधन के परम मित्र थे और श्रीकृष्ण की पाण्डवों के साथ घनिष्टता के कारण उनसे शत्रुता रखते थे। 

मित्रविन्दा ने जब अपने स्वयंवर में श्रीकृष्ण का वरण किया, तब विन्द और अनुविन्द ने इसका विरोध किया और श्रीकृष्ण द्वारा युद्ध में पराजित हुए। 

युधिष्ठिर के राजसूय यज्ञ के समय सहदेव ने दोनों भाइयों को पराजित कर अवन्ती राज्य में महाराज युधिष्ठिर का आधिपत्य स्थापित किया। 

महाभारत युद्ध में दोनों भाइयों ने कौरव सेना की ओर से भाग लिया और अर्जुन के हाथों वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए। 

Vinda-Anuvinda

Vinda and Anuvinda were sons of King Jayasena of Avanti and brothers of Mitravinda. Both were friends and ally of Duryodhan and did not like Shrikrishna for his closeness to Pandava. 

When Mitravinda chose Shrikrishna in her swayamvar, both brothers opposed this and fought Shrikrishna. Shrikrishna defeated them in battle and married Mitravinda.

During Yudhishthir’s Rajsuya yagya Sahadev fought and defeated both brothers to bring Avanti under Yudhishthir’s control.
