Mairead Hickey was born in Bermuda, and talks to Evelyn Grant about her family's move to Cork, her training there in both the classical and traditional Irish music genres, and her subsequent studies in France and at the Kromberg Academy in Germany, before she entered the music profession during the pandemic years.
